Vin 888 Pty Ltd is a family-owned business of Angie Joson-Olsen and Glen Olsen. The Olsen Wines label was established in 1993 and has since then received awards at major shows entered. The company has also grown its reputation within the grape growers with its increasing winemaking contracts. The same level of care and attention is applied to every wine in its range, regardless of price.

Olsen Wines consistently position its product in the market as a Boutique Wine Producer, specialising in premium private labels. The wines are truly handcrafted. Profound attention to detail is exercised in every aspect of the winemaking and bottling process. The committed and highly skilled growers share the Olsen Wines philosophy on quality.

Olsen Wines has established the first inner suburban winery in Melbourne. Its current production capacity is 250,000 litres and storage capacity is 350,000 litres. The total production for the 2007 vintage was approximately 22,000 cases. The 2007 vintage experienced hot and dry summer climate and has generally reduced crop levels. But due to the meticulous care of growers and our winemaking expertise, the quality of 2007 is very similar to the excellent 2006 vintage. Olsen Wines has recently garnered a few awards at some major wines entered.

Olsen Wines are currently in the design phase of a new production facility at the Yarra Glen vineyard. Such a facility will allow all operations to be centralised; giving rise to considerable cost savings and allowing for growth in both winemaking services and export activities. This facility will house the production, bottling and storage and cellar door sales. Olsen Wines envisage that this project will take three years including town planning and EPA approval. A part of this long tern plan is the development of the Yarra Valley property for tourism, restoring it to its former glory, as it was once an accommodation facility.
