Pyrenees Ridge Winery

Pyrenees Ridge Winery is a premium boutique wine producer, established in 1998 to produce high quality premium red and white table wines.

Pyrenees Ridge is entirely family owned and operated by Graeme and Sally-Anne Jukes. Graeme had several years experience working in a hand full of wineries in the Yarra Valley as well as studying Wine Science at Charles Sturt University, but his true passion and desire was to own a winery and vineyard where we could make high quality specialist wines for the premium end of the market.

Attracted to Central Victoria by the beautiful picturesque countryside and Mediterranean climate, Graeme and Sally-Anne settled on the Pyrenees Wine region of Western/Central Victoria, an area with one of the best reputations for producing big rich Shiraz and Cabernet wines of the highest quality.

The first commercial release from Pyrenees Ridge was in 1998. It was extremely well received by the consumers and Pyrenees Ridge received its first wine show award from the 1999 Ballarat Wine Show for our 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon, awarded a “Highly Commended” the equivalent to a silver medal for an un-bottled wine. Since then Pyrenees Ridge has collected over 50 wines show medals, three trophies and over two dozen very favourable reviews from highly respected wine writer in Australia.

In the last three years the business has expanded by 300% and exceeded all expectation. Because of this increase and expansion the winery has had to expand accordingly with a production in excess of 2500 cases of Pyrenees Ridge wines per year as well as over half a dozen contract winemaking clients from around the region. Exports to US, Canada, Germany, Macau, China, Japan and Hong Kong.
